Create The Writers Room Introduces FIVE FILM FRIDAYS, a quarterly program for Writers and Filmmakers in the SCI-FI and FANTASY genres. This initiative brings your imagined worlds to life, placing them on screen in front of studio, network and production executives who share a passion for magical storytelling and whimsical world-building. But it's more than just a showcase - Five Film Fridays participants are paired with Hollywood decision-makers for invaluable mentorship opportunities.

Each quarter, our industry partners handpick 5 exceptional films/proof-of-concepts to screen at FIVE FILM FRIDAYS, 3 will be placed in the Pan African Film Festival, an Oscar-Qualifying Festival, to compete for Best Short Narrative or Best Animated Short at PAFF.

This highly competitive program is designed to uncover fresh voices, elevate visionary talent, and celebrate creatives who are redefining the future of the Sci-Fi/Fantasy genre.
